Please note that there is a 4% Haywood County Occupancy Tax on lodging, when applicable.

Individual deposit/refund policy - deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable

A minimum deposit equal to one night's lodging and meals (plus tax, if applicable) per person is required to confirm individual reservations.  The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.  All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Group deposit/refund policy - $200.00 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit

The deposit is applied to the total bill.  120 days prior to the arrival date 50% of the estimated total billing is due.  The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.  Charges for additional participants and/or services may be paid at check-in or prior to departure.  All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Reserve all cabins deposit/refund policy- $1,000.00 non-refundable and non-transferable deposit

The deposit will be applied to the total bill.  120 days prior to the arrival date 50% of the estimated total billing is due.  The balance is due 30 days prior to the arrival date.  Charges for additional participants and/or services may be paid at check-in or prior to departure.  All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable..

Housing Minimums

4 bedroom/4 bath cabins - 6 persons or 3 rooms
7 bedroom/7 bath house - 10 person or 5 rooms
Sit 'n' Whittle Village - 16 persons or 9 rooms

These minimum numbers will be charged, regardless of actual numbers, per LLEC management discretion.

LLEC reserves the right to change assigned rooms in the event of a conflict.

A minimum of 10 people is required for meals to be served.  The minimum may be attained by adding groups together.

No adjustment will be made for participants arriving late or departing early.  A night's lodging includes 3 meals and no adjustments will be made for missed meals.  Guests departing early may request box lunches (at least 24 hours in advance, please).

All rates are subject to change - Notice of change will be given to affected groups.  

Cancellation policy

Cancellations within 120 days of the arrival date will be required to pay 50% of the anticipated income based on the number of participants, type of housing, meeting rooms and other amenities requested when the reservation was made.
