Praying, Contemplating, and Healing with Beads - Kristen and Max O. Vincent ALL DAY EVENT

  • Lake Logan Conference Center Wormy Chestnut Lane Canton, NC, 28716 United States

Though the practice of using beads in prayer goes back to the early Church, Protestants have only recently begun to embrace it. Why is this? How can beads be used to delve deeper into our prayer lives? And how can prayer beads be used to heal from spiritual pain? Join us as we explore the history and use of prayer beads, consider how beads can help contemplate the mysteries of our faith and seasons, and experience God's presence in pain and in joy.

Participants may bring a set of prayer beads to use during the workshop or plan to purchase a set on-site.
