Adult Fly Fishing Camp
Mark your calendar, register, and get ready for Lake Logan and Curtis Wright Outfitter’s Fly Fishing Camp for Adults. Leave the kids and grandkids at home and be a part of a true camp experience – fly fishing style!
Have you never fly fished before?
Have you just started but aren’t sure if what you are doing is right?
Seasoned vet looking to learn a few new things?
Just want to get away and fish?
We have you ALL covered!
Our camp will not only give you ample on the water time in Aquatic Activities (Fishing) but will also give you a chance to tap your artistic side in Arts and Crafts (Fly Tying), and plenty of time to enjoy nature. The only thing not like the camp you may remember as a kid is the food. The Lake Logan staff will keep your bellies full for all the day’s activities with delicious, nutritious, and creative meals prepared by our chefs. Special dietary needs can be accommodated upon request.
Camp will include an introduction to fly fishing, trout, and fly fishing equipment. You will learn to tie three flies and several of the most important techniques in fly tying. We will also give an introduction to the entomology and fly selection associated with fly fishing, with a focus on our geographic area. All needed equipment is provided, but we do encourage you to bring any equipment you own so you can get used to it.
For those interested in less classroom time and more time on the water or worried about wading ability or mobility issues, we can custom fit our Fly Fishing Camp to your needs either with extended days or access to float trips for an additional charge.
Registration fees include the program, your expert guide from Curtis Wright Outfitters, equipment and class materials, four nights’ lodging, eleven hardy meals (Monday dinner through Friday breakfast), a reusable water bottle, and fish stories you’ll be telling for a lifetime.

Addressing Concerns over COVID-19:
- We will limit the number in each class so that there will not be more than 12 people in a room for workshops. The classrooms are large and will have plenty of space to spread out.
- Supplies will not be shared.
- Face coverings will be required in public spaces.
- We are working out our plans for dining. Takeout will be an option, but we will probably also offer dine-in as long as there are no restrictions at that point. If the weather is good, we’ll allow outdoor dining on the dining hall porch as well.
- We recommend getting a single room unless you have someone you’d like to stay with.
