Guided Riverwalk Tours – Thursdays
Join us for Guided Riverwalk Trail Tours Thursdays 9-10:30am from June through mid-September.
Led by Kristen Burns, Environmental Education Coordinator, and set on our 300-acre campus, surrounded by Pisgah National Forest and the Shining Rock Wilderness, this tour is designed for all ages, winding along the Pigeon River on an accessible trail. Soak in the sights and sounds of the river, bald eagles soaring above, and observe closely the many plants, trees, birds, and other amazing finds on this trail recently cleared and updated by staff and volunteers as part of our ongoing Helene restoration.
This tour is offered on a donation basis so everyone can join in. A suggested donation of $20 per adult (ages 18+) and $10 per youth (ages 12-17), with a minimum donation of $5 per attendee (all ages). Payments can be made by cash or card upon arrival. All donations support Lake Logan’s Retreat Center, Outdoor School, Camp Henry and ongoing Hurricane Helene restoration. Every contribution keeps these experiences accessible and our waterways protected.
