Financial Aid

We believe that every child deserves a summer camp experience and no one will be turned away from Camp Henry because of funds. There are a few ways to receive financial aid.

Subsidized Rates

An automatic subsidy of 15% is available for those unable to pay the at-cost rate. When registering online, enter SUBSIDY as the ‘coupon code’ to receive the 15% subsidy. This is possible because of generous donors and support from the Diocese of Western North Carolina. We ask that only people who cannot afford the full cost of camp take that discount.

Camperships

If you are affiliated with a church of the Episcopal Diocese of WNC, you are eligible for our Campership program. Camperships split the cost of camp between a church, the Campership fund, and the family. To use this discount, enter your church specific code in the ‘transfer code’ field and CAMPERSHIP as the ‘coupon code.’ Please reach out to your parish administrator or contact to receive your church transfer code.

Additional Aid

If you need more assistance than the Subsidized Rate allows and you are not affiliated with a church, please complete the financial aid form when registering online. We will work to find funding to ensure your child can come to Camp Henry. We appreciate this being done in the winter or early spring.

Butterfly Camp

When registering for Butterfly Camp, please enter the code BILINGUAL to receive the discount.

Financial aid is only possible due to the support of the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina and through partnerships with various churches, agencies, communities, and individuals. Every dollar in our scholarship fund counts. Please be considerate when applying for a scholarship.

In 2025 over 50% of our campers received some degree of financial support from our funds and community partnerships. If you are able, please consider making a donation to make the magic of Camp Henry accessible to more campers.
