Camping at Lake Logan

Lake Logan offers several unique camping options.

Recreational day passes including access to hiking trails and the lake with canoe, kayak, and stand-up paddle board usage are included in the Campsite fee.

Sites on the main campus have a campfire area, picnic table, and access to toilets and water for cooking (short walk).  The paddle-in site is primitive and does not have a picnic table or access to fresh water/toilet.

Camping during June and July, while Camp Henry is in session, is only available for the Paddle-in site #7. Access to this campsite is by watercraft (available at the Boat House) or on foot (via the Dam Trail).

Advance reservations for camping are required. Call 828.646.0095 or email to check availability.

INSURANCE, LIABILITY, AND DAMAGE
Campers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lake Logan and the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina against any and all claims arising out of the use of Lake Logan. All activities are at your own risk.

Check-in begins at 2 pm.  Upon arrival, go to the Main Lodge office to get your wristbands and car tags prior to going to the campsite. Early check-ins may be requested and will be accommodated as space allows.

Check-out is 12 pm. You do not need to go to the Main Lodge office prior to departure – just ensure your campsite is clean and the campfire is all the way extinguished. You are welcome to then park on the airstrip and continue to enjoy the property until sunset.

One canoe is included in your site rental, and you must take everything in and out with you (including water, wood, and trash). Please remember to leave no trace.
