Volunteer With us!
Register Here – this is where you will select your date(s) for each Saturday shift.
Join us at Lake Logan to help maintain our trails! These volunteer shifts are completed under the guidance and supervision of Kristen Burns, Environmental Education Coordinator. Projects may include other outdoor support, such as debris clean-up in general campus areas, or other beautification work.
Time: 9am-12pm
Location: 25 Wormy Chestnut Lane, Canton, NC 28716
Please meet at Main Lodge by 9am
Supplies will be available for all projects, but please bring work gloves if you have them!
Here are some things to consider for your comfort and safety:
- Saturday shifts are active, outdoor shifts. Please dress for the weather, and prepare to be kneeling/stooping/standing for extended periods of time.
- Wear closed toe shoes
- Wear clothing that covers your arms and legs, and be aware of poison ivy.
- Please bring water, snacks and/or a sack lunch
- We have water available to refill your water bottles in our Dining Hall
- You will be asked to complete a waiver and photo release upon arrival
After your volunteer shift, we encourage you to stay and play! Our campus will be open to you for afternoon recreation – swimming, hiking, paddling, etc.
