As the Fall Equinox approaches, day and night meet in balance, and we enter a sacred threshold long honored in the Celtic spiritual tradition. Join The Rev. Karla Woggon in the mountains of Western North Carolina for a contemplative weekend exploring the spiritual wisdom of trees and the rhythms of the natural world. Through a variety of outdoor prayer practices, individual and group reflection, & creative space, we will allow the wilderness itself to be our spiritual director.
Facilitator & Soul Guide: The Rev. Karla Woggon, a retired Episcopal Priest and seasoned spiritual director, dream worker, pilgrimage leader, and lover of stories. Karla has over 30 years of experience listening for the wisdom of the soul and the presence of the Divine incarnate in all of creation. She is the director of Soul Sauntering, LLC, and a graduate of the Spiritual Direction and Dream Work Program at The Haden Institute.

Our accommodations for the weekend are Lake Logan’s historic Sit n’ Whittle Village. The log cabins and lodge were constructed in the 1880’s and moved to Lake Logan in the 1930’s. Check-in begins at 3 pm on Friday. Our program concludes with lunch on Sunday. Cost for a private room is $540, shared room is $400 per person. Please note bathrooms in the Sit n’ Whittle cabins are shared between cabin mates. Join us as we step back in time to breathe a little deeper and connect with nature, the Divine, and one another.
