Greetings from Lake Logan and Camp Henry! The sun is shining, the lake is sparkling, and the days are packed with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Please check out some of the inspiring ways you can join in the fun below.
We can’t wait to see you at the Lake!
Young at Heart Camp
Camp Henry and Lake Logan are excited to announce ‘Young at Heart Camp’ for those age 60+ (August 26 – August 28). Enjoy the majestic playground of mile-long Lake Logan surrounded by the Shining Rock Wilderness and the Great Balsam Mountains. Throughout our time together, campers can sign up for guided indoor activities and outdoor adventures or simply enjoy time relaxing with friends and Camp Staff. Everyone is encouraged to experience all that Lake Logan has to offer – take a stroll along the river, spot a bald eagle in flight, take out a rowboat on the lake, or share some laughs around the game tables in Boojum’s Cave. Evening activities include live local music, history and ecology talks, and of course, good ol’ fashion campfire sing–alongs.
Trailblazer Celebration
Trailblazers – an engaged community of advocates, donors, and volunteers – help preserve the legacy of Lake Logan and Camp Henry while ensuring the vitality of our ministries and programs for generations to come! Whether you are a current Trailblazer, a past Trailblazer, or simply interested in learning more, join us on Saturday, September 13th from 2 pm – 4 pm at the Bishop Johnson Dining Hall. We’ll gather to enjoy refreshments, live music, and time together. We’ll share exciting news about all of our progress over the past year – especially since the storm. Most importantly, we’ll share what’s on the horizon for the Retreat Center, Camp Henry, and the Outdoor School. We are beyond excited for our next steps and know you will be too!

Great news, campers! Starting August 2nd, camping is officially back and better than ever. After a brief closure due to Hurricane Helene, all your favorite spots are ready to welcome you again. Whether you’re planning a spontaneous day trip or looking to enjoy the splendor of Lake Logan all year long, we’ve got you covered. Now’s the perfect time to jump back in. Camp Henry
It’s been an incredible summer at Camp Henry! By the close of the 2026 season next week, over 450 traditional and outdoor school campers, junior counselors, family campers, bi-lingual campers, and LAMPers (Leadership Adventure Mission Program) will have made new friends, shared in the magic of summer camp, and created memories to last a lifetime.
With sessions for all ages, Camp Henry offers creative and engaging programs rooted in faith formation, environmental education, team building, and FUN! Our amazing counselors lead a wide range of activities like sports, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, storytelling, and so much more.
Good news: there’s still time to join the fun! We have a few spots left in our final session for elementary school campers, running July 27 – August 2. Don’t miss this last chance to be part of something truly special.
